Got a callback from the Dept. of Natural Resources coordinator, Governor's office. We talked for about twenty minutes about the bills proposing to remove restrictions on carry in all recreational areas. The guy listened very attentively to the reasons in favor and asked good questions. Please contact Governor's office and also your own representatives!

This bill still has to pass the House and Senate. The House bill number is HB 2184 and the Senate bill is SB 2143.

These bills have a very good chance of passing if enough pressure is applied and kept up. Contact your reps now.

I emailed and called my Representative Winningham and Senator Beavers offices today. I will follow up with faxes and letters tomorrow. Come on folks, lets get going here. If you are not willing to act when you have a chance to make a difference, then not only do you not have the right to complain, you dont deserve the liberty that you are losing.
