To buy or not to buy - another Pro CDP

Bouncing around the show yesterday I spotted a Kimber Pro CDP (appears to be series 1) that looks to be NIB. Price?? $750+tax.

I'm torn... The price seems rather good for a new Pro CDP... and it's not like they're making any of the Series I any more...

What are these going for locally?
Any bonuses to a Series II over a Series I?

A NIB Pro CDP II would be in the $930 - $1020 range. It may not be NIB.

NO! That is unless you want extraneous parts that have a higher probability of doing more harm than good. Pre-Series 2 Kimbers are becoming more and more rare on the market........I'd grab it if you can't find anything wrong with it.
