On this day we choose to honor our service men and women, from a man with no military experience but the love for my friends and family who have/had joined up, a wholehearted thank you for the sacrifices you have made so that I can enjoy the freedoms I have today.

Shout-outs to Edward L. and Paul H., the Air Force and Navy respectively for employing them, and all their enlisted brethren in the military currently residing in The Sandbox (of doom). Come home safe fellas.

As one who never served in the military I maintain the highest respect for those of you who have served and are serving. We owe our freedom in large part to those who have taken up arms to protect it. You make all of us proud. Thank you.

Thanks and a big thank you to those who serve today.

The most sincere of "Thank You's" to those who have served or now serve.

A moment of silence for those that did not return or are otherwise no longer with us.

didn't really fit with the mood of my earlier post

Nothing but evelasting contempt for those that disparage our fine Men & Women in uniform...now or previously.

Hork! Pitoo! and a pox on those that speak poorly of our troops.

Sending a special thanks to my brother today. Three tours in Iraq and counting...proudly serving with the 101st.

Thank You.It was my Honor to serve and to do so with the finest men I have ever known. Byron

To each and every one of you who served in the Armed Forces in any capacity, I want to express my sincere and heartfelt appreciation that you would give of yourselves to serve us, the American people. We would not be able to be who we are and do what we do without your invaluable service. I humbly salute you all!!!!!

My respect and appreciation to my fellow vets, those before us, those serving, and those who will.

To those who ducked it.........

Those two put in words the feeling we all should have.
