Thanks Mike. I tend to write small, but that front page is a bit too small for me to read. Another great pilot of that war was Jimmy Thach. He developed the Thach weave that allowed our Wildcat pilots to take on the Zero and defeat it. I think he was lost on a night mission. Apart from the Revolution, America was never better served than by those who served in WW II. Hats off to the dead and a salute to the survivors.

The Times has these pages posted on their Web site. Included is an image of the front page AND the text of the entire headlining article.

I've stopped bothering to post the actual links here as the Times requires that you register before you can view most of the stuff on the main page, and I got sick and tired of being accused of being in collusion with the Hyperflembaric Reptiliomammal Aliens, who suck the skeezflamix fluid out of the eyes of the people who register for the Times site.

Anyone who knows anything about the subject knows that the HRAs only need you to touch a light switch for them to suck the skeezflamix fluid from your body. :banghead: :cuss:
