Why is this date significant? Because it's 19.11 Day. Get out and enjoy your 1911. As good an excuse as any to get out & shoot
 
Didn't occur to me until I read this. Good thing I carried mine hunting today. Matter of fact, it is still on my hip. Didn't bring me any luck, though...

I wish..with a brand new Kimber Custom II..Lol ( I will be at the range Monday, with my Hi-Point C9..)
 
Like the way you think Mist..... Its either my 1911 or my 938 iwb....
Geez Gbeecher i like the thought of a new Kimber also...

Kimber or Dan Wesson, S&W, Ruger, Colt, Sig, etc. Lol..I own a Hi-Point C9 and a 1933 Mosin rifle - love them both! My wife & I are working class people, with little disposable income..
 
That's cool and I almost missed it. I carried my 5" Range Officer all day. My daughter was born 1-19-11, so guess what she gets when she is older? That's right, 1 1911. :)
