This would probably get the right attention in the handguns forum(s) :)

I've heard hit and miss things about J&G, mostly issues with used guns not being all that great. Are you in Arizona? If so, if you can, I'd stop by and take a look. Maybe contact them about spare mags and parts and see if they have a lead on it.

I bought a Yugo Zastava M57 Tokarev surplus well-used pistol from Widener's early this winter and it has quickly become one of my favorite shooters. I was concerned originally about finding a replacement recoil spring and a spare extractor, but then decided to just make the purchase, given the reasonable price for the all steel handgun. The Yugo M57 magazines are not interchangeable with the other Eastern European manufactured Tokarevs. Two magazines were plenty for me since the ammo costs nearly $0.50 per round locally.

Shop around before you buy - there are a number of sources selling Tokarev models from worn and used to brand new in box at varying prices.

I'm in Arizona - and I can attest that J&G is a great source. Call them - they are friendly people and can tell you could resources for spare parts. Though at that price....maybe buy two - then you have spare parts already.
