Too much "point of aim"!

This is what happens when you shoot with a red-dot sight, and take the expressinon "hitting at the point of aim" a little too serious. :uhoh:

Well, the mount worked itself off the rail.
It had worked well for some time.
Then, during a match, the sight flew forward as I was shooting a target, and I obviously fired the second round as the sight was in front of the muzzle.
The bullet went straight through the "body" of the sight, and then through the lens! :D

Oh well... :)

I'm sorry you lost some equipment, but that's hilarious. It's almost as good as that picture of a Glock with a bullet stuck in it.

That WAS a OKO red dot.

It was mounted on my "Glock Carbine" when it happened.

If you look close at the picture, you can see that the sight is just a little too long for the mount I have.
Maby I'll put the one from the 552 on the Glock instead. :)

It was kind of funny. A guy came to the match with a BT-96K and thought he had the shortest rifle there.
I sure proved him wrong! :cool:

Ah, didnt even notice that. Never heard of them before.
 
I liked the sight very much.
It was sturdy, took shock well (not bullet proof obviously) ;)
waterproof down to 5+ meters.
Easy to replace batteries, and long runtime.

I will probably get another, but I'll have to find another way of mounting it. ;)

the choice of pic was to avoid uploading yet another picture, thereby saving server space. :)

The sight holds (held) ;) zero well.
The OKOs are used alot on IPSC open guns.
It is light and sturdy, so I like it very much.
I'll probably get another sometime later. :)
 
The OKOs are cheaper and lighter, the EOTechs are more robust (probably still not bulletproof, though.) :D
