So i took the wife to the range today and we were shooting my Finish Nagant with surplus ammo and i noticed that the primers on the surplus stuff looked much diffrent from the comercial wolf stuff we also shot. As soon as i noticed the diffrent looking primers we switched ammo to be safe. I have included pictures i am currious if i was right to stop firing the surplus of it i was just being paranoid. In picture one the two on the bottom are the comercial Wolf, the ones above are the surplus in question. All where fired from the same rifle, and the bolt was slightly harder to work after firing the surplus ammo. I did not include closeup pictures of the wolf since the primers appeared normal to me. thans for any help y'all can provide.

Your firing pin might be set a little too far out, judging by the way the primer's sorta splashed away from the pinstrike, but that is Albanian surplus you were shooting, and that's fairly well known to have primer issues, be they improperly seated or blowing out or whatever.

And it's not loaded hotter, the Wolf is by all accounts loaded a bit light.
