Took my 14-year-old daughter to a handgun match

she did great! she shot my Ruger 22/45 with volquartsen goodies. She's getting better at malfunction clearances and reloads. Her shooting is pretty good also. Lots of fun!

Video includes some stages with her if interested. I shot M&P CORE 9L with RMR optic and Freelance mag extention (28 rounds) in open division. Placed mid-pack... there were some fast dudes there.

I love watching the kids enjoying the sport! Makes me feel there's hope for the next generation yet. They haven't all turned into simpering gun hating liberal weenies.

Yes non sanctioned local match. I need to see the dot better and wait for good sight picture. Once the beeper goes off it all goes to heck.

USPSA just added a provisional/Level 1 only "carry optics" division for guns like yours.
