Hello all, just wanted to show off the new Glock 26 I bought last week at their special Active-Duty Military price.

I already added a Hogue slip-on, grip-tape on the mag extension, and I relieved the trigger-guard for a more comfy grip.

Say what you want about Glock, but I really like companies that give a military discount, so they now have my support, and I like the idiot-proofness of their pistols, that's good for a hard-head like me.
Without further adieu.

Oh, the other stuff in the pics are a Surefire G2, Benchmade Griptilian, Galco Ankle Glove for the G26, and my Threat Solutions UCR (Ultra Concealment Rig)for the Para-Ord P13-45.

Enjoy guys, let me know what you think.

Haven't had a single problem with the Para. Actually I just qualified with it so I can carry it on my 2nd job (292/300) I've been exceptionally happy with it, thanks Sean.

Chris, the hogue slip on helps the tiny grip to fill out my hand and fit in it more positively and it just fits me better in general. And, you know what they say, if it feels good in your hand, you'll shoot it good and enjoy shooting it. I know rubber grips aren't for everyone, especially those with finger-grooves, but I like em. Thanks for the  though.

Rob, it's an Intel badge. It's a key and a globe, you know "Intel is the key to the world." and what-not

Chris: I've always just felt a better fit with big fat grips, my hands aren't huge, but I like something that fills it, which is why I prefer double stacks. single stacks are cool, but there's just something about a double that gives me warm fuzzies.

I thought so. My brother was an imagery analyst up until December of this past year. Was stationed at Langley his whole time in (8yrs)

HA, looking at your screen name and your location, I'll bet you a million bucks I know your bother, in fact, he was my supervisor for a while, and he was a roomie of mine for a few months between deployments. He's even the one that turned me on to this website. Small world huh? Take care man, here's to hoping he makes it back OK.

P.S. Saying your brother is a helluva guy, and the best analyst I ever worked with would be an understatement. He taught me a lot, and not just about work. Helped me through some tough times. Worst mistake those a-holes ever made, running him out like they did. Rediculous, just F'n rediculous. We all miss him around here.

P.P.S How's Dre?

Thanks for all of the kind words about my brother. He is doing good by the way. I don't know if you get to talk to him or not. DOES NOT talk about what he is doing over there. You can tell everyone back at the shop he is good.

Dre is doing great as well.

Transitioned a lot of cops from revos to Glocks 23s and 26s. Never saw a 9mm Glock jam in 100s of 1000s of rounds down range as a Rangemaster/Instructor. Can't say that about the 40 Glocks.

Know cops who have carried G26s in every conceivable position on and off their bodies with good success. Interested in how yours proves out.

I like the Speer 124gr JHP +Ps at 1200.

I'm not a 9mm fan I carry a 45ACP but I highly respect the Glocks in 9, whatever configuration.

I just went to the range yesterday and put 100 rds through my Para. And 250 rds through the G26. The Glock had 0 interruptions and is really easy for me to shoot accurately, especially for a pistol with such a short sight radius, needless to say, I'm happy with it.

Jason: Those Griptilians are sweet knives huh? I love the way the full size fits in my hand, but the state says the blade is too long! :cuss: So I've been looking at getting a mini-Griptilian with the new tanto point blade. Or the SOG mini X-ray vision. The both use a locking system, very much like Benchmade's axis-lock. I really like that type of lock because it still allows for complete 1-handed operation, without the need to put your fingers in the line of "fire" of the blade, as with most liner-locks. Liner lock knives, to me, are kinda like having to cover your hand with the muzzle of a pistol to change a magazine or something, an un-needed hazard.
