I went from the Hogue overmold forend to the Magpul forend on my Mossberg 500. In comparison to the Hogue, the polymer Magpul felt a little slippery to my taste.
I had previously used Tractiongrips rubber stick on grip on my keltec P32 with good result, so I ordered their stick on grip for the Magpul forend.
It was cut perfectly to fit the Forend. It comes in four pieces, a front piece and rear piece for each side. As directed, I cleaned the forend with soap and water first. Then it was time to peal the backing, and apply the grip. Application was easy, and it fit great. Finally, hit with a hair dryer to set it.
The result is great. Grip is much improved. I like to use a push/pull hold, where I maintain forward pressure on the forend, so a good grip is important to me. The Tractiongrips is a definate upgrade for me. 398AEEDD-59BA-4458-A525-14A5E87C65B2.jpeg 94CE4DF0-5E77-4665-B058-E13BA1530C4E.jpeg

Nice. I like the color of the stock set. Do they feel more like rubber or plastic?

On a related note, do you still have the Hogue stock set?:D
