Anybody know of a source for the traditional Chinese knife? The one I am talking about has a leaf-shaped blade and was the inspiration for the Bob Lum Spyderco folder. I've seen photographs of both folders and fixed blades in that shape, but can't find a vendor. I've Googled 'til my eyes are bleeding, but all I keep getting are vendors of cheap Western-style cutlery made in PRC. Thanks in advance for any help.

"leaf shaped blade"???

Golgo, are you refering to the baat jam do? (bamboo leaf, or butterfly swords).

How much denek are you looking to spend? Price range?

My boxing club is having some made in Suid Afrika by our sifu's hunting guide. Dan's knows the website, I'll get it from him. $500 can get you in, and inscribed with want you desire.

Or, are you talking about the daggers like we use in mantis, but used in many styles of boxing???
