first "good" Glock trigger I've ever tried (but I haven't tried many). A buddy brought his G34 out to an IDPA match and I got to check it out afterward. Taran Tactical did the work and it was really impressive. Very light takeup, very well-defined break, and awesome, short reset. Made my stock G23 feel like a pile of crap.:D

The entire rework (including nice fiber-optic sights and some other stuff) came to around $500 he said, but it really feels like a different gun.

I want one.

I just looked up the prices and the trigger job is $150 if that's all you want.

A good trigger can improve the performance of any gun. The trigger is the first thing I look at and if work is needed to make it "nice", the cost is worth it.

A good quality connector and a little judicious polishing in the right areas will make all the difference in a Glock trigger. I put the Zevtech connector in all my Glocks.

A top quality Glock trigger is more than a connector and a polish. That may get you a trigger you will enjoy for the price, but it's far from the work done on the best options.

What is good for matches is dangerous for SD and I removed the competition trigger from the G19. Put the stock trigger in. For SD, it's as light and crisp as I need. I might list the one I have on Arms List. I am sure someone will be as enthused about it as you are. Probably throw the stainless guide rod and reduced recoil spring in too and make it a package. IT's the Zev trigger kit from www.Glockworx.com . The only thing I left on was the extended mag release, grip plug and extended slide release.

I like a good trigger and anything less than 4-4.5lb on something for self defense is too light for me unless it is DA/SA.

Yep, get a Ghost Edge connector from NDZ via eBay! All. My Glocks have em! They are $25 and install in five minutes.
These are self defense guns... No issues with safety. Keep em holstered and finger off the trigger.
