I bought an all black CPX-2 Last week and finally got it to the range yesterday. I had so many FTFeed jams that I had to finish my range time with my trusty Ruger. It would literally jam after every fired shot. Eject the jammed round, fire, jam, repeat. So annoying, I only got about 30 rounds through it yesterday.

I brought it home, cleaned it, and oiled it up liberally. Racked it several times and got it feeding. I took it back to the range today. It was feeding like a champ after 100 round but almost every single shot I had to manually push the trigger forward to get it to reset. If I did not do so, there would be no tension on the trigger and it would not draw the hammer back. Anyone have any experience with this error? It has a warranty, but I would at least like to try and fix it first. Thanks.

I will say if you can get the damn thing to fire, it will hit what its pointed at. This is at 30 feet:

You mean buying a CPX? Yeah...I had one 5 years ago...

Mine broke 2 firing pins within the first 50 rounds. I flushed it the first chance I had...pure crap...

That is humorous. I am definitely regretting it. I might just send it in for the warranty and sell the repaired gun.

Well, on paper anyway. Unfortunately, I understand it's different story in practice (IE getting the run-around from customer service and horrendous turn-around times).

It's encouraging that you were able to resolve the feed issues. Was the trigger reset an issue during your initial 30-round outing? Did the manual come with an exploded diagram of your model?
It could be something as simple as the trigger's torsion spring that's slipped out of place.
If it's something you can do yourself, from my current understanding of SCCY/SKYY, you probably should.
