Tonight I started chamfering my 223's. there are 100's of 'em. I'm using an RCBS hand chamfer tool. Not the way to go. Does anyone make a trimming tool which will fit the RCBS hand trimmer that will trim and chamfer both inside and outside? It would same me hours of work!
Thanks....

Found the RCBS three way trim and chamfer on the RCBS (duh) website. Anyone use one and how does it work?

Don't know if the 3 way cutter head works on your hand tool but I have one on my RCBS trim pro for 223 and it is AWESOME! Worth every penny if you are trying to do more than 100 at a time.

The 3 way trimmer head for the RCBS hand trimmer works GREAT if you are talking about the RCBS Trim Mate #1 or #2. Get the power drill attachment and it's even better. It is still a pain to crank the handle if doing 100's of cases.

The Sinclair/Wilson deburr and chamfer tool in a drill also works well.

Since I got they WFT for 223 I do not use the RCBS Trim Mate as the WFT is so much faster and you do not have to debur, only a slight chamfer

Thanks for all the info guys. Does anyone know if the 3 way cutter head will work on an older trimmer setup? for $56 or so it will save me lots of time - certainly worth the money (just ask my black and blue hands from holding and twisting all those cases!).

Still not exactly sure what trimmer model you have??

The original one that looks like Version 2?

For a manual trimmer I would think about the new LEE which will de burr and chamfer at the same time. It's cheap but reviews say it works well. You buy the cutter and then the caliber die you need. $15.00 for the cutter and another $10 or soo for the 223 die.

For about the same money as the 3 way head you can get the Little Crow WFT and this little tool works! It took the drudgery of case trimming out of 223 loading for me.
