Hi A,
No , I didn't ----- this was about 7 or 8 years ago , would have to look at the paperwork to be sure.
After getting the SG back the first time , I freaked when I slammed it shut and it went BOOM !!! I was ready for ANYTHING the second time I got it back , used a reload with no powder etc , only a primer -- BANG it went. So I then took it with me to the next Cowboy Shoot , explained to the RO my problem and had a buddy tape the results --- after the 2nd reload -- BOOM and I got it on video !!!
To be fair ---- I have read a bunch of GOOD things about Tristar SGs -- BUT -I still say I was VERY SURPRISED by the Cust. Service ---- I was not grumping about something like " my stock doesn't match my forend " etc. ---- this was a SAFETY issue that really could have been DEADLY !!!
BTW --- the 2nd time I sent the SG back , I DID inclose a BIG NOTE , that the problem would ONLY OCCUR IF YOU SLAMMED the gun shut.
