Gentleman.
Here is the story. I own Para Ordinance 1911. Great gun, for me anyways. I have it for just about a year, shoot it on weekly bases, love it.
But today my world crumbled. I took the gun to the range, put about 300 rounds down the pipe, all good. Took it home and as hundred times before field strip it and clean it. Just like hundred times before I put the gun back together, pulled the trigger and ….. nothing.
The gun won't fire. Trigger seems to be frozen in place and hammer is stuck in fully cocked position.
I tried everything I know, disassembled the gun and put it back together like 10 times, removed the grips to check magazine well. I don't see anything wrong there as well. The trigger won't move, the hammer won't fall.
Any ideas ? Anything you can recommend before I take it to the gunsmith or send it to the manufacturer ? What happened ? Something broke inside the gun ?
Any and I mean any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Cezar.
