Trying to buy a Muzzle Brake: FFL?

Was just about to purchase a Troy Claymore online and got dialogue about acknowledging that the item has to be shipped to an FFL. I have tried researching this topic, and just to clarify.... Muzzle brakes definitely DO NOT need to ship to FFLs, right?

to be clear thats not a "brake" thats a blast forwarder. Wont really reduce recoil....well not enough to notice anyway.....it just directs noise and energy down range a little more effectively than a bare muzzle, flash hider, or brake.

In other words it's the polar opposite of a sound suppressor.

I can see tactical uses for sound enhancers. Makes the enemy think you have heavier weapons than you actually do.

Those and SBRs are really the only things I wish we could have out here that we can't.....

Linear compensators DO let down the gases more slowly than a bare muzzle, so they DO reduce recoil, just not as much as a conventional side-port brake.
