Does anyone know what threading size the lanyard ring screw has on this gun? I wanted to replace the white finish ring for a blued one. I have a pietta 1851 ring in a drawer somewhere, and I am hoping that will work. The part looks similar to the style of the Webley ring, but that can't be right, can it?

First, you need to determine if it screws into the frame, or if it's held by a cross pin (the second picture in the OP versus the third picture). The fact that it stands off from the frame (in the first picture) leads me to think it's the cross pin type.

These British-style rings are available on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/172739279105?itmmeta=01HRHWRH6NARYGNETSW9YPMQ4B&hash=item2838103901:g:Nz8AAOSwT5xZSCfT&itmprp=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwO0eUe%2FSjYBuY00SDfN6nejk7p4qJc5wYPcU6r5vEkxP8ifeaZkuyQNTjrfxhZ5IOGjmdDp1pY0uix7%2BnU940Jge%2Bq8nFtyTnsmmdLDiItexc6wOdDHOydboYeOqStPT03TW9D5c8r6GqzA1BQ1a%2BgBL9krdDQV5kQdgyko6Ila98f38C6S%2Ba7cK7SKqFK9oj%2Be3Ze8BqQuKV6b1lGbgWFnnj4W38sLOCoZMtaBaT85iZY3%2BVQxgSEPL3icmc5XWLg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR7ST4rzEYw

Thanks for the info!

I would take both rings to the screw and nut selection of my local hardware store to try on various nuts, like 6-32, etc.... To see if they fit the same nut or take different ones. If the same = golden !

Well, the lanyard ring is definitely not a screw on, so it must be the other type. Does anyone know the frame used on the grip for this model? I'm assuming it's an 1860, due to the name of the conversion, but I want to make sure. I need a new grip frame, and new grips because the factory setup is not flush and the brass frame is not even at all.

Got a pic of the issues? You’ll have to fit new frame and grips regardless. Why not fit the ones you have? Looks like they started with an brass 1860-sized army grip frame to me but 🤷‍♂️

The issue is the backstrap is marred with tool marks and the grips are extended past the frame at multiple points, and it is chipped to boot. I wanted to replace the backstrap/trigger guard + the grips. I need to buy a tape measure so I can figure it out. I've been told the 1851 & 1873 have the same grips. Not sure about the strap and guard.

The trigger guard and back strap are longer on the 1860
