Anyone here using the Tuff brand quickstrips? Fixing to pull the trigger on some but figured I would ask for your opinions here first.

Thanks,
Chuck

I did order 2 HKS speedloaders as well but like the idea of these strips being flat and unobtrusive and all. More or less a backup to the speedloaders in a sense.

Thanks again,
Chuck

Nothing wrong with them. I frequently use Bianchi Speed Strips to carry extra rounds.

Load it with snap caps to practice reloads while sitting around at the house.

I also have speed loaders. Generally never carry them though. I keep o e loaded for a quick reload for my house revolver.

I tried some of the Tuff brand quick strips several years ago. They offer a wider caliber selection than Bianchi, including 32 long and 22 lr. I bought 2 each of the 32 long, 22 lr and 38 special. They don't compare to the Bianchi in terms of durability. They seem to be made of a different material, and broke after only moderate use. Pretty disappointing. I previously carried Bianchi speed strips for many years off duty with a j frame, and the lasted forever.

What jollyroger wrote.

Greater availability for non-.38spl/..357mag, but not as durable. If you use them for self-defense, plan to replace them on a regular schedule, like you would your carry ammo.
