Just wanted to let everyone know that "Rapid Fire" is on the USA channel.

Something about a shootout involving 20,000 rounds in 1 hour or something like that.

Already in the first 5 minutes there has been a mention of SASS, 4473, and mutiple gun's with descriptions that actually make since and a strong belief in personal fredoms by the main character (granted he may turn bad, he has good intentions).

Everyone should check this out. More good gun reated content than I have ever seen on a made for TV movie.

I just turned it on, turns out I missed about the first hour of it. One thing that really stands out is that they keep using the same two magazines to reload. They have two magazines duct taped together so to reload all they do is pull the bolt back and flip the mags over. Problem is, they keep using the same two. Also saw one of them start to fire with the bolt still locked back. Aside from the usual problems of people taking cover behind cars and still not getting nailed it doesn't look too bad.

yeah, that is the only bad part. Really, the first part was different. That gunfight was pretty bad in terms of realism, but it got me pumped up.

An added bonus is having a TV tuner on you're comp. Gun forums and guns on TV. Got to love it.

EDIT: Wiskey Tango Foxtrot. That cop just stole that civillians gun. Insane. My answer would be "hell no you can't have it."

Beeep Beeep Beeep Warning Warning

My "anti-dar" just went off when I saw who directed it!!!

KARI SKOLAND of "Liberty Stands Still" fame. She ain't exactly John Milius.

uhh it seriously started out great and "reverse snowballed" Mad was that an awful ending, well I take that back, everything but the first 30 minutes was awful. Sorry for posting this. :fire:

Well, I was really sorry I missed the show at first, then as I read more posts, it looks like I didn't miss much anyway. I'm running the whole gammut of emmotions here.

Yeah, it looked good at first, but became oh so bad and anti-climactic

I watched it.
Could someone answer a few questions for me?

1, How much does 20,000 rounds of .308 weigh?
2, Why, when the shoot out in front of the bank took place, did I not see a single piece of brass or hear one hit the ground?
3, Did you see any shells being ejected?

I find the comments about the brass hitting the ground funny because thats what made me stop and check the promo out
