two guns picked up a public auction

i picked these two up a public auction monday night,a S&W 38spl 10-5 round butt with two" heavy barrel and a ruger #1 25-06 with heavy barrel and a 6x24 tasco(gone already). the guns are in ex condition. eastbank.

eastbank, I both look good, but I really like the looks of the R/B M-10, with the diamond magnas. Looks like there is a small amount of freckling on the side plate above the grips. You may want to pull the grips and check for any rust. Then soak in Break-Free and lightly go over these areas with oooo steel wool or brass wool.

oldbear, yes there is a little flecking, i have taken the grips and side plate off and cleaned and lightly lubed the insides. the double action has a very short double action pull when compared to a model 15 S&W i have, i do like the better sights on the md 10 than on my md 36. eastbank.

Good find. I'm not a particular fan of 2" K-frames but I am a sucker for diamond magna grips. They're enough to swing the decision.

That Ruger No 1 is really nice.
