Regarding question #2, I bought Country Boy mule ear nipples from the vendor that I purchased my guns from who also happened to be an antique gun parts dealer. Unfortunately he's been out of business for a long time now.
I don't know if they were Pedersoli nipples or generic replacements.
I doubt that Pedersoli (the maker) or Navy Arms (the importer) has any nipples for that model but they can be asked directly.
And you could check with some long time Pedersoli suppliers who have been in business for a long enough time to be familiar with the gun or who may have stocked some nipples for it.

Even if these outfits don't have any, the important thing is to find out what the threading is because it was not a common nipple. The base was large in diameter with coarse threads.
Then it may be easier to find a generic replacement from an outfit like Dixie Gun Works, Track of the Wolf or the custom nipple manufacturer Blomquist Percussion Works. Blomquist can make any nipple if need be. You can ask him if he has made them before, or send him your old nipple to duplicate. His new phone number is:
