Tyron style 45 cal percussion long Rifle

Looks like a Pedersoli Tryon rifle. Has a longer barrel than mine does though and mine is a Deluxe .54. There should be a DPP mark on the barrel near the breech.

Added: Well, from the picture the barrel looks longer than mine. Just measured it and it's 32"

Yep, Pedersoli Tryon.

Tks.. it has no manufacturing marks on the lock or the barrel. no proof marks. it appears to be a tyron type rifle. it is 45 caliber with deep rifling.

Tks for responding. I was thinking of purchasing this rifle. but is has some serious problems.. it appears that this rifle suffered a catastrophic failure at one time. the cheek side at the breech plug shows damage as well as the stock in same location.

I suppose it's possible. The added photos do not look to be of a Pedersoli.
