Uberti revolvers

I was at a gun show over the weekend and saw 2 Uberti revolvers. I really liked both of these guns. One was a 1873 Cattleman and the other a 1875 Outlaw. They are both 45LC and 7.5" . The guns i have now are mostly revolvers and are Smith & Wesson or Rugers. I dont know that much about Uberti or the quality of these guns. Is there anyone out there that ownes either of these guns. Any feedback would be great. Both are also blued & case hardened.

I've owned several Uberti revolvers (mostly cap & ball), including two of the cattleman type. I really liked them. Although I have never owned a Remington 1875 I would like to try one. Too bad they don't make the Nickel-plated 357 Mag ones anymore.

I have a Uberti/Taylors Schofield, and it's doing fine about 300 rounds in.

It's too bad they only have 1 year warranties, but I've been happy with the fit and feel of my Replica.

If it was made around 2002 or after, the pistols should do fine.

They are ok for cowboy loads, but they cant handle anything stout.

I have a 1873 Uberti Cimmaron 45 revolver and a Colt walker. I am please with both overall but wasnt real pleased with the finish on the walker ended up plumb browning it which actually looks pretty good.

Cowboy loaded FMJ my favorite, the gun already requires a good half hour + to clean when it starts getting gunked up with lead.

I've stopped using solvent mostly though, Elbow grease, bit of Hoppes on a flannel... Baby wipe on a bad spot and more oil to soothe the wiped area.

It's still the best piece in my small collection.

Ohio, I have recently bought a Uberti 1875 Outlaw in .45 Colt, mine is a 5-1/2 barrel and I'm so far having a lot of fun with it. I broke it in on Winchester Silver Tips 225 gr HP, but just a couple of boxes cause they are kinda pricey! Now I'm shooting my own reloads and I think the gun is a hoot! Shoots nice groups at 25 yds and with 255gr LSWC over 7.5 gr Unique I'm very happy with it.

I beleive the quality of the new Uberti cartridge guns is as good as any and maybe better than some.

I was talking with one of the cowboy SASS shooters at the range the other day and he shoots a pair of the Uberti's that have been slicked up and he said they have a very good reputation among that crowd.

Uberti's are getting better all the time. They are good guns and a good value. I have several of their revolvers as well as a rifle or two and have been well pleased with all. My Winchester 1873 Deluxe Sporting Rifle replica in .38-40 is wonderfully accurate. Piles a 180gr Gold Dot, 135gr Sierra or 180gr Oregon Trail RNFP all over 10.0gr Unique into an inch or better at 50yds. The innards on their revolvers are smoother than they've ever been too. All my Uberti sixguns were easier to slick up than my Colt New Frontier. We bought Dad a Remington 1875 replica (just like the one you described) for Christmas a few years back. It's very accurate and shoots right to point of aim. He piles a 250gr RNFP over 8.0gr Unique into one ragged hole at 15yds standing on his hind legs. Just needed some smoothing and a lighter hammer spring.

I don't hesitate to buy Uberti's but I do like to thoroughly examine them first.
