For those interested, here's a longish vid of most of the stages of a recent 3-gun. Includes some Benelli M3 and Steyr AUG-A3 action by my brother in law (his first match ever, so he was slow and safe). I was shooting my Mossberg 590 and a Ruger Ranch Rifle (mini-14) with a 3x9 scope, which was a mistake.
The 3-power magnification up close really slows you down. Not that I'm very fast anyway.
For those of you considering getting into 3-gun, DO IT! It's a lot of fun and everyone involved is generally very cool and accommodating to first-timers. This video might give you an idea of how the match goes, different stages, etc.
