UGHH Spilled Powder..

Dang it all!! I hate hate this.. Sometimes powder will "bridge" and I pull out the brass and then it suddlenly dumps abou 20gr or whatever all over the bench.. *sighs* I gotta keep tapping the thing, this is the second most hated thing about reloading for me. The first is trimming lol.

I gotta find a tray to put under everything so when it spills I can just pour it back in.
 
I have numerous small plastic containers and/or bins in my shop....one of them is under the measure to catch any loose powder.

Use a cookie sheet. Lay it on the bench and drill holes through it to mount your press inside the lip of the cookie sheet. Keep all of your small parts in the pan while working and if they rool away they won't go far. When you are done you unbolt the press and shake the cookie sheet off then start over.
 
I gave up a long time ago.now about once a week I take my leaf blower and blow all the "loose powder" out my reloading shed door. jwr

First I thought BANG!!!
then I thought which grass is greener? Ceptic tank or front of reloading shed?
