I ran across this item selling in an auction today, and thought maybe this needs a whole new category.

Frankly, it looks like what my daughter used to do with beads and glue with her cell phone 10 years ago, but what do I know?

It is chambered in 32 ACP.

Something is not quite correct. The pistol clearly states 9mm kurz / .380 ACP.

Ran it past my wife. She likes her's better and prefers the rocks on her fingers or earrings. :)

The only classy respectable bling guns were done by Tiffany's......everything else looks like lipstick on a Pig.

While definitely a conversation piece, someone clearly has too much money and time on their hands. There is a time and a place for bling. I suppose you get a gold grill with it?

What is a "BBQ gun"?

It's a gun, generally big and flashy, to be open carried at friendly events when you want to show off but rarely suited for everyday carry.

Most common are probably engraved and polished 1911's and revolvers, but some things pass right beyond 'well done'.

What was it that Patton said about pearl-handled guns? That only a pimp in a New Orleans bordello would carry one?

This blinged-out Walther carries that mindset to its ultimate conclusion. If somebody has $86,000 to blow on this monstrosity, what can we say?

Yes, and that his grips were made of ivory, not pearl.

I don't find that gun pretty at all, just gaudy. When I think of BBQ guns I imagine deeply blued steel and exotic wood, not precious gemstones.

Heck, I grew up in Houlton, Maine! Didn't know that we had a stash of diamonds and rubies out on Bangor Street at the S&W plant!!:D

I've got one, but without the bling factor...nice little pistol. Guess I should get busy with the Dremel and some cut colored glass and do up one of my own...:p

GO SHIRETOWNERS!!!

Clearly spent all the money on the stones and then cheaped out on the mounting by hiring a 2nd-grader with a glue gun.
