Unfinished projects?

Anybody else behind in our hobby?

I thought I would have more time since I retired- wrong- just having more fun doing other stuff.

I got 2 grinds, 3 rescales, and 2 rescues to refurb.

Be dipped if I can find the time.

I have 5 blades I forged sitting around without any progress beyond heat treat. I have a couple of Michaela's that she forged in pretty much the same condition.

I have PILES of blades sitting around in various states. Been working on other hobbies.

I've got a half ground 1095 large camp knife/heavy machete. If I ever want to get serious about this I'll have to upgrade from my 1x30 harbor freight.

Little behind here, too. Two customs waiting for heat treat, one Case refurb awaiting assembly.

About to have to repair/repaint the house starting next weekend, but when that's done the customs will get completed then I get to order my Grizz and build my mini-forge.

Re: Slingshot.

I have yet to find a suitable fork from a tree limb, in which to make me a slingshot, or two.

"Yet" meaning, I done forgot where I put the rubber and leather for pouch in which to make a darn slingshot.

Naw I got all caught up with my cane projects this week since it was spring break.

Sure, rub it in my friend I got a bunch of canes in various stages of finishment ( is that a real word?)

Got some grips I want to refinish also.

As far as just the hobby stuff goes, I have several blades in various states of the completion, a small fishing boat that I am mostly done rehabbing, a make-up shelf I promised my daughter I would build her, several para cord projects I said I would do and... and ...

On top of the fun stuff, I have an older home and have been working on that for what seems like ever. Currently tiling a shower surround, tiling a kitchen back splash and finishing trim work in a couple rooms not to mention all the darn landscaping and yard work. Thats just the things I have actually started working on (well the yard work not so much till better weather).

Oh well, that's enough whining. Glad to know I'm not the only one with plenty of stuff going on.
