Universal barrel mount picatinney rail

Anyone know where I can find a barrel mounted picatinney rail that will fit a 6.5 Carcano Calvary carbine that is long enough to put ether a red dot sight or 2x LER scope on it, that is not going to break the bank till I get a custom mount made? The iron sights are useless for anything under 250 meters so I am going to remove the rear adjustable sights an add a custom made mount after I get my blueprint made up for it. For now just need a place to mount a sight that I can use for targets under 110 yards. One foot high at 110 yards is not good for shooting deer.

The XS/CLIFTON Scout Scope Mount would be as good a place as any to start.

Not made for a Carcano, but one of them should be close enough to get it to work.

Thanks RC. Just shot them an email. Maybe this will not only help me out with getting my mount that I designed made but allow others that own Carcanos to be able to mount after market sights on their weapons without gunsmithing and be reversible.
