Universal Clays Load Suggestions

I am starting to experiment with Universal Clays In 9MM 125gr & 147gr plated, 38spl. 125 & 158 cast, .40 S&W 180 plated, .45ACP 200 & 230 plated and would like to hear about some of the loads the members here are using. I have a couple of good loading manuals but am always interested in the experiences of real people.

I have tried Universal in .40 with plated, and it does very well. I have used it with 155 to 180 Gr plated bullets, as well as jacketed 165s and 180s.

Good stuff. Accurate and very clean in that app.

Besides light plinking loads, I like to run the 180 plated pills at 900 to 950 FPS for a rough duplicate of some of the 180 defensive loads. Somewhere between about 5.3 to 5.6 Grs Universal will get you there with a 180 Gr plated bullet. I like AA #2 for the lighter 180 Gr plated loads.
