Unknown Uberti Model???

Hears a thought plus a question.
When did Uberti start making reproduction cartridge guns? If it's not a BP cylinder stuck on a cartridge frame then I would suspect someone modded it themselves which is why everything looks wonky.

Hawg, Jackrabbit,
Thanks for the check, I shouldn't have read it and commented on it when half asleep. Or more than half.
You guys are welcome to laugh at my expense, I deserve it!

Not a great image but it represents several decades of Uberti Pocket Police. From the image, it appears the bottom left and the one above it on the left have a cap groove. These may have been imported by Replica Arms, so very early. If I am in that area of the safe, I will check and get a better image.

Finally got a chance to take an image. Here you can see both revolver with the cap groove,

A closeup of the groove, and the date stamp, XX9 noting 1973.

And just so you can see, the Uberti trademark.

So, in 1973, at least, the cap groove was present in the Pocket Police Model. I will look at the rest of mine to see if we can have an endpoint for the groove.
