Well, just learned today that my buddy is getting his MAB38 back!!! I guess his late dad must have registered it in the May 1986 amnesty period! What are the chances an old bull headed WWII Vet was willing to do something like that? I am super pleased that he was able to file for a class III stamp and get it back. He was down to donating it to a state funded museum, and the ATF agent found out it had been registered....

Imagine the ATF taking the time to research their records to determine if the gun was properly registered and returning it to him without a fight.
