Updating (fiddling with) my old 1911 EDC

Some while back I set up a 1911 carry-gun that could flex into action-hooting that I referred to as the 'Street Racer.' This is no longer my EDC but I still like it and shoot it fairly often. Recently I replaced the Noval fixed rear sight with a Novak adjustable sight, changed to a lightweight Commander hammer and bob-tailed it. I like the changes. Today I was out at the range testing it with McCormick 9mm/.38 Super 10-round magazines. With 9mm ammo loaded to factory length they work well, but the do not reliably feed ammo loaded to a shorter OAL. Not a problem, just need to reworm my match loads a bit. Target was shot rapid-fire at 7-yards with 124gr. +P JHPs.

A typo- it was supposed to say Action Shooting, like ASI matches or USPSA
