Picked up a pound of us869 today, don't know when I'll find h-1000 again and wanted to try some. Think hornady has data but haven't looked yet, I know it's very slow powder but seen some guys were getting better then expected velocity. I'm guessing heavier bullets would work better so guess I'm try the 147 eld-m.
Have to look this powder may work in my 7wsm to, I'm sure either way a mag primer maybe preferred. I've read this powder is not good with temp swings, so maybe have to wait for it to cool off to test some loads.
So anyone try us869, in the 6.5 prc.
