Using a nylon bore brush -- questions

I just ordered my first nylon bore brush. I have two questions:

1) Should I clean it after each use? I only plan on brushing one way (chamber to crown) and unscrewing it after each time it exits the crown

2) How often should it be replaced, if ever? Being nylon, I assume it'll last quite a bit longer than a bronze brush since it won't be attacked by the copper removing element(s) in the bore cleaner

Clean after every use.

Brushes wear fast, even nylon. They're cheap, buy in bulk from Brownell's and replace often.
