For the third year Constitutional Carry Failed to make it. This year it made it through the senate and probably had enough to override the Govenor if he chose to veto. Two years ago it was first introduced by rep. Oda, in the house. It passed both houses by 2/3's then the Gov. Vetoed it. Dudley Brown and NAGR operatives showed up during the session with what were described as heavy handed tactics. After it's veto, rep. Oda couldn't get an override session. This year the SB256 made it through the senate again. NAGR & Dudley Brown taking credit then with a couple of days left the bill gets stalled in house rules? This is why we need the NRA helping with laws and law makers, not these organization's and people with questionable tactics and principles. I want to find out what I can from people that have dealt with NAGR and Dudley Brown first hand, the State Representatives and Senators I've spoken to this year think this bill would already be law if NAGR would have stayed out of Utah. The NRA may not be perfect but they're the best we've got.
