I am a National Rifle Association and Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification certified instructor that offers a class that meets the mandated requirements for a permit to carry a concealed handgun in at least 30 states. This permit is referred to as the Utah non-resident permit; you are not required to be a resident of Utah to obtain the permit. DC residents welcome.

The class will be held on Saturday January 19th from 7PM - 11PM in Springfield VA. All you need to do is show up for the class (a gun is not required) and I take care of the rest.

The class fee includes the required instruction, materials, fingerprinting, photograph and postage. You will receive your permit within 60 days.

For more information visit contact Bill Clark at [email protected] or via phone at 888-50-PERMIT (888-507-3764). I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, cash, check or guns(at my choice).

The cost is $120.00 for the class and includes all costs (except the permit application fee). Pre-registration guarantees your seat but walk-ins/add-ons are welcome if space permits.

Range time available for those who wish to participate.

I have instituted a policy where if you are coming to the class you can bring your wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, roommate for free. They can sit in the class and gain the knowledge- if at the end of the class they wish to get a permit - they would need to pay the course and application fee.

This permit is reciprocal with the following states -
Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
(I do my best to ensure this is accurate, but I am not perfect)

*West Dakota not an actual state

You state that you do your best to keep the above list of reciprocal states accurate. I and others have pointed out on more than one occasion in past months that you incorrectly list several states. We have even pointed out the specific states you listed that ARE NOT HONORED by this permit. Yet, you continue to advertise your course and lead prospective attendees to believe that the permit is honored in multiple states in which it is not. This is simply unacceptable.

Nevada and South Carolina do not recognize a Utah permit of any kind, either resident or non-resident, and they have not done so for a long time now.

New Hampshire does not honor any non-resident permits other than its own.

Michigan only honors resident permits.

I have edited the ad to correct this, I appologize I copied an old ad, and didn't proof read it properly. I was in a hurry and I copied the information including a VA resident permit as well. It was never my intent to be dishonest.

Just a note - FL is not reciprical with UT, but my training will be accepted to get a FL permit. FL accepts only RESIDENT permits.
