Byron, you make an excellent point and that point is taken. However, like I said, I was just playing "Devil's Advocate" and looking at it as a prosecutor/anti-gunnner would.
If I saw something shiny coming from an aggressor, I'd probably be drawing down on him too. Unfortunately, the article did not say exactly what the agressor had in his pocket or what made the defendant in this case believe the agressor had a gun. We'll probably never know, since for the most part, the media is widely liberal and places all gun owners in the category of "crazy, ill-mannered, short-fused whack-jobs". If the newspaper/media told the whole story, then there would leave a lot more reasonable doubt. Oops! Wouldn't want that now, would we? (LOL J/K)
