Dude buys two guns, legally. He has no violent background. He is a legal owner of two handguns. He uses those handguns to murder 32 people.

Dude buys two guns illegally, on the corner from a streetgang. He has no violent background. He is the illegal owner of two handguns. He uses those handguns to murder 32 people.
It is being reported that the Glock (or whatever 9mm) was purchased in March. Which means that a waiting period is ineffective even if implemented.
Either way...it seems to me that these scenarios ACTIVELY DEPICT that gun control is ineffective. Now...obviously they will try to spin these facts, but that is where WE become effective, by voicing our opinions to those who will listen (and even some that won't.)
The bottom line is Bad people do Bad things. And the only defense against bad people is armed Good people.
And yet the casual reader glancing this thread title VA Tech Killer Used Sig may simply come away with possible misinformation stated as fact without reading the actual thread.
Just as I heard a reporter say "the shooter used two handguns like the ones in the pictures you are seeing" and thought that that meant that the shooter used guns like the ones in the pictures...:banghead:
