Friend may part with this gun: Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley .44 Magnum.
It is functionally perfect. Does have some dings in the blueing, but not many. One small chip on the wood grip that he filled in with some epoxy stuff. I would describe its condition as "Very good"
The SN appears to be 86-?????. Does the 86 mean the year of manufacture?
Barrel is long...not sure of length. Has carvings on the cylinder that say Bisley and the Ruger symbol I think.

Anyway, what would a good price be? Any problems with these models?

The barrel is 7.5". They are good revolvers, but no collectability. I would get another set of stocks rather than trusting that repair job (could be painful if the glue came off during recoil and it pinched or cut you). You can determine the manufactors date from Ruger's website. I would hold the price to $300.
