From a VCDL VA-ALERT:

The Virginia Citizens Defense League will hold a meeting for members and the general public at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23rd!

The meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel, 700 Monticello Avenue in Norfolk which is across the street from the Norfolk Scope.

Many thanks to Robert Marcus (owner of Bob's Gun and Tackle) who generously arranged for the room AND refreshments as a donation to VCDL.

Please come out to meet and join your fellow members. I will be there along with other Board members, executive members, and regional coordinators. We will discuss the status of gun owner rights across the commonwealth, gun-related things happening in southeast Virginia, answer questions and concerns, and have some great camaraderie and fellowship.

Let's take advantage of Bob's hospitality and pack that room!

If you are carrying, open carry would be suggested as the hotel has a license to serve alcohol in the meeting room (they won't be serving alcohol, of course). Virginia's Restaurant Ban and Virginia ABC laws cloud the issue yet again with the vague definition of what is considered a 'restaurant.' That ban has to go. In the meantime, my suggestion stands.

Remember, you don't have to be a VCDL member to come to a meeting - so bring your friends and family.

We hope to see you there!
