I want a vertical fore-grip for my AR-15.

I do not want to have to buy a picitinny rail and Im wondering if there is a company that offers a Grip that directly attaches directly to the rifle without having to purchase a rail system. Does anyone know?

Thanks

You can buy a rail that bolts to your handguard...cheaper than an entire rail system. Just an idea.

My only concern with that system (and this is just from looking at it) is that because it's not held in with bolts, will it pull loose when you apply pressure via a vertical foregrip?

www.combathunting.com Very good quality AR products and good service. Don't get me wrong, I do most of my online shopping with Midway and have no complaints, but combathunting.com has more for less for an AR.

I got a rail and a vertical grip for less than $40 delivered. Rock solid and grip has a compartment for storage as well. Sorry no pic yet.

yes, that to is my concern

I had thought about putting some type of lock tight or something like that but then again i would hate to put that on my rifle..

I wouldnt ming buying a underrail but once again i really just want the bottom and not the quadrail...so I will keep looking..

CTD Offerings

How about this:

Top and bottom rail

Didn't see a single rail replacement or bolt on available from CTD.

I just got this for my Bushmaster

came with these

then I mounted this fore grip:

I'm really happy with the setup. Out of curiosity why don't you want a quad rail?

Handguard Rails Set, Ultimate picatinny rails mount directly to your AR15 handguard, 12 slots, includes triple set of screws. Great for mounting lights and lasers, imported. Made of aluminum. Set of two rails. AR-15 or M-4 Rail System Picantinny Rail System easily attaches to your AR-15 or M-4 rifle forearm without gunsmithing, allows you to add lights or lasers with Weaver style rings. Short - 5.9"

The GG&G rail will work. Have it on my first AR and survived a few classes before I upgraded. Still have it 6 years later.

You take off the handguard, place the rail on the outside of HG, then place screw in rail, use a nut on the inside of HG with a little red loctite, total time, 45 mins including dry time. 5 mins of real work.
