I had an unusual experience tonight. I ordered a few new firearms and went to pick them up this evening. My dealer actually charged less for each of the 3 firearms then he quoted me at the time of order. I'm actually more used to prices going up, not down in this regard. Also, if anyone likes the Taurus revolvers, the 85 series seems to be pretty cheap right now. I picked up a new stainless 650 CIA for $235. I paid $269 for my blued version a couple of years ago. Good experience overall.

It's nice to hear a good report now and then, so we don't forget that there are still good guys out there. Congrats on the new gun.

I picked up one of the blued w/ gold .38 ultralites (M85BGUL) w/ 2" barrel for my SO for $350.00 last year - saw it in a few shops for 385.00 - 400.00 (I can't shoot the thing for the life of me...the little tiny grips keep jumping aroung in my hand - have to reset my grip after every round.)

Sorry for the late response, but I just noticed your response. The dealer is Ross Brothers in Uniontown, PA (724) 437-4711.

It is always nice to find a good dealer to buy from. I think i found one here in Western WI. So I am happy. Most of the shops here wanted to charge me $40 to do a simple transfer from CDNN. That is crazy, I used to pay $10 down in IA. This new dealer I am working with only charges me $20.
