Back in 1978 when I joined the Army I swore an oath:

I, _____, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).

In our current situation in the USA, I am forced to ponder the following:

I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
===============
and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States.

I wonder what happens if I deem the President to be that domestic threat to the Constitution...

Of course I pray that situation never reveals itself, but Obama is stretching the very fabric of life in the US to it's breaking limits.

The Constitution & it's Amendments are all that keep the US from being like every other nation - a subservient people to a ruling class.

I don't believe I'd live long or well under a dictator, king or someone with absolute power.

Just my 2¢ worth
