VIDEO: How to Install a Full Length Magazine Tube on a Shotgun

I purchased a full length magazine tube from CarrierComp, a titanium tube, for my M4 Benelli and installed it yesterday. With the right tools, and with enough patience, doing it was quite straightforward. But you have to get over the fear that you are going to ruin your receiver when you start blasting away with the heat gun. In fact, unless/until smoke starts to come out, you have not heated it up enough.

I did mine a week ago or so, with the cerakote DG finish. Waited about 9 weeks from order to delivery.

Took about 5-10 minutes with a heat gun to get the old tube unscrewed.

Really improves the look of the M4, doesn't it?

Indeed. The weight difference can be felt too, 10oz stock vs. 5.5oz with the titanium tube.

Regarding the heating process, I didn't event take the red dot sight off the rail! I saw the Loctite smoking a little and after a couple more passes, it fully unscrewed.

Haven't got a chance to test it yet with the new tube.
