Video showing why gun laws won't work

Here's a video showing some New Orleans inmates playing with a loaded pistol, gambling, drinking and doing drugs.
It's against the law/rules for an inmate to do any of the above, most particularly possess a firearm (lolz) but that ain't going to stop criminals.. many have nothing else to lose so what's a little old law or rule to them?

I'm sure the antis will spin it that because we have SO many guns in America, even our prisons can get them.. Goes to show though that you can't ban evil.

Looks like they really need to be searching the staff members that work there. I know prisons and jails will never stop contraband. But at-least they can stop the guns and outside alcohol.

Gun control laws do work. Just not in the way we have been told they're supposed to. Their purpose is to reduce the power of the people, and nothing else. Laws passed to reduce the armament of the public, or even disarm it, will restore that power to the government, and that's the purpose of gun control.

Those members of the public who currently do not follow gun laws (i.e. thugs and other criminals) are not a threat to the government, as they are unlikely to rise up and overthrow it. (After all, why would you overthrow the very entity that is working so hard to make your livelihood so much easier?)
