This video shows an impala getting shot with a Pietta brass Buffalo model loaded with a round ball.
The shot completely passes through.


A hog is the target in this video.
The caption states that it's loaded with round ball and 25 grains of Sanadex pistol pistol.
Sanadex is a pink substitute powder similar to Pyrodex that was popular in South Africa when there wasn't much black powder available.

A Giraffe is shot with a .54 sidelock, round ball and Sanadex powder.
The shot went into the heart.


A hog is shot with a .50 caliber CVA Electra rifle.

They were, I haven't seen any recently though. The steel frame used to sell about $75 more than the brasser.
