Maybe not directly Gun related, but then it really is.......

Just thought I would share the start of my day. If it does not belong here a moderator can do what needs done...move it or delete it!

So I was doing my chores this morning at the recycling center and elderly man beside me was putting his recyclables where they belong, when I noticed his bumper sticker....

"Viet Nam Helicopter Pilots Association"

As we passed to and from the dumpsters, he began to pick up the pace as if he were in my way... I asked if he needed help, but he was done, and he closed his door, looked at me and waved.

That is when a compelling feeling hit me.... and I held up my finger...

He opened his door and said "yes" ? I said, I noticed your bumper sticker..were you a pilot in viet nam?? He said yes I was! ... I held out my hand for a hand shake and he grasp my hand firmly and I said..

Thank You for what you did!

A picture would be worth a thousand words, and I wish I had one....He smiled, looked down a little, then back to me and said Thank You!

Just thought I would share that. Then I went to the Local Gun Shop to browse around and I seen all kinds of guns. But today's thoughts concerning guns have an un-imaginable angle for me today. ( So there, there is a firearm mentioned )
