First Annual Vintage Military Rifle Match
This match is meant to be a FUN shooting competition, not a formal NRA-type match.
Shooting will be done by class for:
Standard “as issued†ex service rifles up through the Korean War era.
Standard “as issued†ex service rifles in sniper configuration.
Sporterized ex service rifles.
Shooting will be from the prone, sitting/kneeling/squatting and offhand positions.
This will be a 35 round competition including 5 sighter rounds.
Open to all classes of military rifles from all countries around the world from the Korean war era and earlier.
Friendly competition against fellow shooters with similar rifles.
Location: Hamburg Rifle and Pistol Club
Date: June 19, 2004
Time: Approximately 11:30AM (after the 9AM CMP Match)
Entrance Fee: $10.00

Targets provided. Bring your own ammunition and speed loading devices. (magazines, stripper clips, en block clips, etc )
Dust off that old rifle, break out an ammo can and join us for a fun day of shooting!
The range is on the right on Forge Dam Road.
The sign at the gate reads “Shartlesville Fish and Game Associationâ€
I couldn't get the map to show up here. The range is off of Rt. 78 at the Shartleville exit. Turn toward the mountain and go straight at the split on to Forge Dam Rd.. (it's about 7 minutes west of the new Cabelas in Hamburg, PA)
